Harden Scores 37 Points and Leads the Houston Rockets to a Victory over The Pistons

Harden Signs Major Contract and Scores 37 Points

James Harden debut as a Houston Rocket was one for the record books as he went on to score 37 points and added 12 assists. The reigning Sixth Man of the Year fell just short of his career high of 40 points, and his 12 assists were a career best.

Not many were expecting James Harden to explode in his debut, but in his post game interview he ensured that was his goal and he understands he must help lead this team to victory with his actions and leadership.

Newly acquired Jeremy Lin also showed he will be valuable throughout the year as he added 12 points and 8 assists. The Rockets look to be a dangerous team as they have quite a few players off the bench who can contribute and really help spark a second surge when the starters are out.

As for the Detroit Pistons, they looked sharp and responsive, but it appears there still needs to be some moves made in order for their team to become a true contender.
