NFL Forcing Teams To Install Cameras In Locker Rooms
With $9 billion dollars reported in income you would figure the NFL would have no problem reeling in their fan base. They undoubtedly have one of the best global marketing campaigns within the 4 major sports. Suddenly, the NFL is forcing, yes forcing teams to install cameras in the locker rooms in order to enhance the fan experience.
Ticket sales have been reported to dip as new stadiums rise and with the increased popularity of the NFL. Is this really a good move? As a former athlete its very hard to agree with the NFL’s decision. Even if you aren’t familiar with the locker room realm, teams and player deserve privacy. The camera footage from locker rooms will be broadcasted on the scoreboard screen within the stadium.
Commissioner Goodell has the right (or wrong) intentions but his decisions often make no sense. You want fans to buy more tickets and enjoy themselves in the stadium so you’re going to let them watch players interact in the locker room because we don’t see clips of that already.
